Note:
These values are a guideline only. Smaller wire gauges may be used for
lower operating temperatures. Check with the wire manufacturer’s specifi-
cations to ensure safe and proper use.
3.2.2.4
Between Protection Device and Load
The wire lengths running between the protection device and the load only need to be of
sufficient gauge to:
• Carry the required load current (at maximum operating temperature).
• Ensure that voltage drop between the power supply output and the load
does not exceed 0.3V – when the remote sense feature is connected.
The minimum recommended wire sizes for a maximum operating temperature of 60°C,
are as follows:
Note:
The recommended wire insulation temperature rating for all output wiring
is 105°C.

Power Supply Cord (AC Input)
For the AC input connection:
•
Use only an IEC type power supply cord.
•
Ensure the power supply cord has a current rating of at least 10A.
•
Ensure that the power supply cord is approved in the country of use and meets
the local electrical safety regulations.
