Only speakers within the range of impedance 4 - 8ohm may be
connected to this CD-Receiver.
Connecting speakers outside this range may damage this CD-Receiver
and / or speakers.

Connecting Speakers
Using speaker cables connect your speakers to the SPEAKERS OUT connectors.
Check “Hooking Up Speaker Cables” for more details.
Hooking up the CD-Receiver
Connecting an Active Subwoofer
If you want to add an active subwoofer to your system: using an RCA-RCA or Y-type
subwoofer interconnect connect the subwoofer to the SUB OUT output.
Please refer to your subwoofer instruction manual for more information.
Connecting Audio Equipment With Built-In Analog Output
If you want to play music from audio source devices equipped with an analog output
(CD player, Satellite tuner, Network streamer, Music player, Smartphone, Laptop etc.)
choose the corresponding interconnect cables and connect the devices to the analog
inputs (AUDIO IN, AUX 1, AUX 2).

Connecting a Turntable
If you want to play music from a turntable: using a Phono RCA-RCA interconnect
connect the turntable to the PHONO input.
Screw in a ground cable of the turntable to the Phono Ground Screw (GND).
The PHONO input is only compatible with turntables equipped with the MM cartridge.
Connecting Audio Equipment With Built-In Digital Output
If you want to play a digital audio source (TV set, CD/DVD/Blu-ray player, video game
console etc.) depending on a digital output your audio source is equipped with, connect
it to one of digital inputs: OPTICAL 1, OPTICAL 2 or COAXIAL.
Use a digital optical cable for the OPTICAL input and a digital coaxial cable for the
COAXIAL input.
Connecting Headphones
If you want to listen to music via headphones:
using a cable terminated with a 6.35 mm (1/4’)
jack plug, connect the headphones to the
PHONES output.
