Packing and shipping

To pack the COMET for shipment:

Disconnect all cables from connectors on the COMET
sides and rear panel. Do not pack the COMET with cables
still attached to connectors.

Verify the connector panel on the back of the COMET and
the battery compartment are closed.

Close and lock the display cover.

Pack the COMET in the

original

shipping container.

CAUTION:

Damage caused by shipping the COMET

notebook in containers other than the original shipping con-
tainer is not covered by the warranty. Keep and use the origi-
nal shipping container.

NOTE:

If the original materials are unavailable, contact

Tadpole customer service for a new container. The original
shipping containers are specifically designed for the
COMET notebook.

Ship with any commercial carrier.
