Resetting Factory Data
1. Touch Main Menu, and then touch Settings.
2. Scroll down the screen, and then touch SD card & phone storage.
3. Below the Internal phone storage section, touch Factory data
reset.
4. When prompted, touch Reset phone. The phone resets and
displays the Home screen.
Upgrading the Software Version of
Your Phone
You can upgrade the software version of your phone using the
software upgrade package downloaded from the website of your
service provider.
Note: Before the upgrade, make sure that your phone is fully charged
and the upgrade version is correct. In addition, you are recommened
to back up important information, such as the contacts, email
messages, files in the phone, and messages.
Tip: For the process of copying the upgrade file to the microSD card,
refer to “Using the Phone as a USB Mass Storage”.
Doing as follows to prepare for the upgrade:
1. Download the upgrade file from the preceding websites.
2. The file will be compressed. Use the unzip software of your PC to
decompress the upgrade package. The upgrade package is a
folder structure which must not be changed.
Note: The folder is called "dload" do not rename it.
3. Connect your device with your PC using the USB cable.
4. Copy the folder structure to the main directory (root directory) of
your SD card.
