Multi-function sreen
(on PT 820 M)
The PT 820 M ’s integral screen provides information
about the machine’s operating state and all its settings.
The
DVD 820 M displays information in the following
areas:
a
Main display
The main display shows context-relevant informa-
tion on the program source or the individual
operational processes.
During normal playback the screen displays the
current track and playing time.

Filter number display
c
Disc player medium display
Displays the disc medium (DVD, CD etc.) in the
disc player.
d
Pre-amplifier - decoder mode
This display area shows which audio channel is
currently being reproduced.
If there are several audio channels on a DVD, you
can select the desired audio channel using the
DVD menu, the on-screen control bar or the remote
control button
    .
Note:
If the player goes into ‘STOP’ mode at the end of playing
a disc, and if no controls are operated in the next twenty
minutes, the
DVD 820 M automatically switches itself off.
The screen displays the message '
