Set the temperature control (M) to position (*) or (**) for moderate steam and to (***) for
maximum steam. With conventional steam irons, water may leak from the soleplate if a low
temperature has been selected.
‐
Ensure that there is enough water in the water reservoir.
‐
Rest the iron on its heel
‐
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
‐
Wait a little while for the indicator light to go off and come on again
‐
Adjust the steam using the steam control knob
Burst of Steam
- Press the (F) button to emit an intense burst of steam from the soleplate.
- In order to avoid water leaking from the soleplate, do not press the steam button for too
long.
Spraying
Press the spray button (E) and water will be sprayed out from the spraying nozzle. Make sure
there is water in the reservoir at all times.
Dry ironing
1. Turn the variable steam knob (L) to the lowest position (“0”) and set the temperature
control to the desired position.
2. Once the indicator light is on, place the iron on a smooth and stable vertical surface for
easy and efficient ironing.
3. Once the indicator light goes off, wait for a while before you continue ironing.
Self Cleaning
It is important to apply “self-cleaning” at least every two months to remove impurities etc. The
harder the water the more the iron should be self-cleaned.
‐
Set the temperature control to MAX level.
‐
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
‐
Allow the iron to heat up until the temperature pilot light goes out. Then set the
temperature dial to position MIN.
‐
Hold the iron horizontally over the sink, then remove the variable steam control knob from
the body enabling the iron to self clean.
‐
Boiling water and steam will now be ejected from the holes in the soleplate. Impurities are
washed away with it. Move the iron forwards and backwards while this occurs.
‐
Set the steam control to “0” position when the water reservoir has become empty.
‐
Repeat self-cleaning if you notice that there is still impurities or residue left over. .
‐
Move the iron over a (preferably) old piece of cloth. This is to ensure that the soleplate will
be dry during usage
‐
Unplug and allow the iron to cool down before storing it.
