INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:
•
Install the unit in a well-ventilated location where it will not be exposed to high temperatures or humidity.
•
Placing and using the unit for long periods near heat-generating sources such as amplifiers, spotlights, etc.
will affect its performance and may even damage the unit.
•
Two units can be mounted side-by-side in a 19-inch rack. Attach the unit using the 4 screw holes on the
front panel. Be sure to use screws of the appropriate size. (screws not provided) Take care to minimize
shocks and vibrations during transport.
•
When installed in a booth or flight case, please make sure to have good ventilation to improve heat
evacuation of the unit.
•
To avoid condensation to be formed inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when
bringing it into a warm room after transport. Condense sometimes prevents the unit from working at full
performance.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE:
Clean by wiping with a polished cloth slightly dipped with water. Avoid getting water inside the unit. Do not
use volatile liquids such as benzene or thinner which will damage the unit.
FUNCTIONS
1. POWER LED:
lights up in red when the box is powered.
2. Signal/clip LEDs:
light up in green when the respective channel receives audio signals. Light up in red
when the audio signals are saturating and clipping the respective channel.
3. AUDIO OUT:
XLR 3-pins male to output balanced audio signals.
4. AUDIO IN:
XLR 3-pins female or 6,3mm stereo Jack to input balanced audio signals.

button lights up in blue when PAD attenuation is enabled on the respective channel.
6. 48V button:
when this button is activated, a DC offset of +48V, also called
“phantom power”, is added on
the signal line. This is needed for some microphones and other specific equipment. This button lights up
in red when the +48V power supply is enabled on the respective channel.
7. POWER IN:
PowerCON TRUE1 connector to power up the box when no PoE is available.
8. ETHERNET ports:
connect the Dante box to the network and can also be used as a switch. Port 1 must
be used when powering the Dante box by PoE.
9. Activity and Speed LEDs:
activity LED is green, speed LED is orange, both indicate Network status:
