6 Status Menu
Introduction
The status menu indicates the current status of each item listed below.
Ref-Stat
Displays the status of the B&B reference input on the RRC/RRS. Can be a
30Hz
ref, a
25Hz
ref or
NA
(not available, meaning no reference input
detected).
AES-In_1 ~
AES-In_8
If a valid signal is present, AES-IN_1 till AES-In_8 indicate OK.
If the signal is between –1 and 0dBFS, it is displayed as
> -1dBFS
.
NA indicates that no AES signal is present.
AES-In_9 ~
AES-In_10
AES-In_9 and AES-In_10 statuses display the status of the bitstream input
(which actually is a 2 channel AES input). The status can be
NA
(no input
detected),
PCM
(incoming signal is standard PCM format),
DolbyD
(input
is Dolby Digital) or
DolbyE
(input is Dolby E).
Encoders
The status of Dolby encoders is shown in this status item. OK means the
encoders are functioning ok. ERROR means an error occurred in the
Dolby encoders. Can also be
Programming
, meaning the encoders are
currently being reprogrammed, which will happen after the .SPF is
uploaded. This can take up to 6 minutes.
Ext_Meta
If External metadata is used, it is displayed in this status item.
OK
means
the external metadata is coming in correctly. NA means no external
metadata is present. INVALID means the metadata is not in accordance
with the spec.
GPI
This item displays which GPI is currently triggered. Can be
