Segmented Rings
Description
The Symmetry Surgical BOOKWALTE
®
R
(Figure 1) segmented rings are composed
of four interchangeable components: two
half circles and two straight ring extensions.
The segments can be assembled to form
a round ring, an oval ring, and in the case
of the elliptical segmented ring, an ellipse.
The size and shape of the rings may be
adjusted intraoperatively by angling a section
out of the way or removing it. The components
of all of the rings are interchangeable. The
device is provided nonsterile and must be
sterilized before use, including first use.

available from Symmetry Surgical. Contact your

information on ordering additional rings.
The rings come in four sizes: small (Catalog
No. 50-4587), medium (Catalog No. 50-4583),
large (Catalog No. 50-4588), and elliptical
(Catalog No. 50-4595). Each of the rings
comes with one set of straight segment
lengths. The rings have the following
