In-Warranty Repairs
To get your unit repaired under the terms of the warranty:
1.
Call us for an RA number.
2.
Pack the unit in its original packaging materials.
3.
Include your name and shipping address, plus a brief statement of the problem. Your
daytime telephone number is very useful, in case we cant verify your problem.
4.
Put the RA number on the outside of the box.
5.
Ship the unit to Symetrix, freight prepaid.
Just do these five things, and repairs made under warranty will cost you only the one-way freight
expense. Well pay the return freight.
If you want to speed things up, you can return you unit by UPS Blue or Red, or you may use
Federal Express. We will return your repair using premium freight at no additional charge. If you
return you unit by parcel post or UPS surface, please dont ask us to return it to you via overnight
or second-day service.
If you dont have the factory packaging materials, then do yourself a favor by using an oversize
carton, wrap the unit in a plastic bag and surround it with bubble wrap. Fill any empty space in the
carton with bubble wrap. Be sure there is enough clearance in the carton to protect the rack ears.
We wont return the unit in anything but new, original Symetrix packaging. If the problem turn out
to be operator inflicted, youll have to pay for both parts and labor. In any event, if there are
charges for the repair costs, you will pay for return freight. All charges will be COD unless you
have made other arrangements (prepaid, Visa or Master Card).
Out-of-Warranty Repairs
If the warranty period has passed, youll be billed for all necessary parts, labor, packaging materi-
als, and any applicable freight changes.
Remember, you must call for an RA number before you send your unit to Symetrix. Follow the five
steps in the In-Warranty instructions above.
