Beeper Indications
The scanner emits frequent beeps. No power to the scanner. Check the system power. If the configuration

a power supply, re-connect the power

the
scanner's RS-232 parity to match the host
Scanner emits four long low beeps. A transmission error was detected in a
scanned
symbol. The data is ignored. This occurs if a unit is not properly configured.
Check
option setting.
Scanner emits four short high beeps (USB
only). Scanner has not completed initialization. Wait several seconds and scan again.
