Batteries must never be short-circuited, disassembled or thrown into fire. This may cause
an explosion!
Do not recharge disposable, non-rechargeable batteries. This may cause an explosion!
Charge only rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable bat-
tery charger.
If you are not going to use the device for an extended time, make sure you remove the
batteries to avoid damage due to leakage. Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable
batteries can cause damage to the product. This will void the warranty/guarantee! Contact
with leaking battery acid can also cause skin burns. therefore use suitable protective gloves
to handle corrupted (rechargeable) batteries.
Replace a dead battery/rechargeable battery as soon as possible with a new one, or remo-
ve the spent battery/rechargeable battery. A dead battery/rechargeable battery may leak
and can damage the device!
Always replace the whole set of batteries/rechargeable batteries; only use batteries/re-
chargeable batteries of the same type/manufacturer and the same charging state (do not
use charged batteries together with half-charged or flat batteries/rechargeable batteries).
Never mix disposable batteries with rechargeable batteries. Use either batteries or rechar-
geable batteries.

7 Getting started/inserting and changing batteries
Slide the battery compartment cover to the right (H) in the direction of the arrow (“Open”)
and remove it.
Insert two AAA/Micro batteries into the battery compartment (J), ensuring the correct pola-
rity (observe plus/+ and minus/-). The respective markings indicating the correct polarity
can be found on the edge of the battery compartment.
After inserting the batteries, all display indicators light up.
The display then shows the temperature and relative humi-
dity, as shown in the right figure.
Close the battery compartment again. Replace the battery
compartment cover and slide it to the left (K) in the direction
of the arrow (“Close”) until it clicks into place.
Quickly press the button (C) twice to toggle the temperature unit between °C and °F.

1 Intended use
The product is intended to measure temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F)
and relative humidity (RH%). The readings are displayed on the integrated LC display. The
temperature unit can be changed.
The device is controlled and programmed via the “Smart Life – Smart Living” app. A free
account is required to use the app. It must be created during the initial app setup.
The time can also be displayed if the product is connected to the app and the Internet. The app
also enables temperature and relative humidity recording and setup of temperature/relative
humidity alerts or automatic features. Moreover, the app provides networking of your product
with other devices that are also connected to your app. The app also supports voice control.
The product can be mounted on a desktop or attached to a magnetic surface with a built-in
magnet. You can also use the included adhesive pad to mount the product on other suitable
surfaces.
The product is powered by two AAA/Micro batteries.
Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product.
Improper product use can cause a short circuit, fire, electric shock, other hazards.
This product complies with statutory, national and European regulations. For safety and appro-
val purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify the product.
Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Always provide these operating

Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children. Do not leave
(rechargeable) batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is swallowed. Danger of death!
