• Remove any branches and shrubbery in front of the camera that might obstruct the image.
Also remember that wind may blow shrubbery into the detection range and that high
temperatures may affect image quality.
• Check the batteries before turning on the camera.
• Make sure that an SD card is inserted before the camera is turned on.
• Make sure that the camera is in the operating mode “CAM” or “PSET”, not in test mode,
before you leave the area.
• Check that the time and date are set correctly.
• Make sure that the case is closed properly to prevent water from entering the camera.
• Please note that approx. 10 seconds after turning on the camera, the test LED flashes for
approx. 60 seconds. Leave the detection area within 60 seconds to prevent inadvertently
activating the camera.
a) Fastening the camera
• Fasten the camera to a tree, a wall or another fixed object using the supplied fastening
strap (24) or the included wall bracket (26).
• The camera can be screwed onto the wall bracket attachment (9) on the wall bracket.
• Pre-drill corresponding holes in the surface to fasten the wall bracket to a wall. If necessary,
you can use the provided screws and wall anchors to fasten the wall bracket.
• Select an appropriate mounting surface.
• Highlight the position of the mounting holes on the mounting surface using a pencil or the like.
Use the wall bracket as a template.
• Drill the four mounting holes in the surface.
When drilling holes and tightening the screws, make sure not to damage any power
lines or gas or water pipes below the surface.
• Screw the product to the surface.
• Loosen the set screw of the ball joint to swivel and tilt the housing in the desired position. Lock
the position by re-tightening the set screw.
• Attach the camera with the battery compartment cover always on top to prevent water from
entering the control panel and LC display.
