When user cannot control the switcher by computer through its COM port, check the COM port
number in the software, also make sure the COM port is operating, the communication
protocol is correct and that the RS232 cable is correctly wired.
5.
If there is no output image when switching:
x
Check if there is a signal at the input.
x
Check if there is a signal at the output.
If there is no signal at either input of the output, check whether the cables are damaged or the
connection is loose, also try another cable.
x
Check if the output port number is the same with the controlled one.
x
If it is still the same after the above checking, maybe there is something wrong in the
switcher. Please send it to the dealer for repairing.
6.
If the static becomes stronger when connecting the video/audio connectors, it probably due to
bad grounding, please check the grounding and make sure it connected well; otherwise it
would damage the switcher.
If the switcher cannot be controlled through the RS232 port, front panel buttons or by the IR remote, the
unit may have already been faulty. Please return it to your dealer for repair.

that it has sufficient power to supply the device it is connected to.

4.
Repair of the equipment should only be carried out by qualified professionals as these products
contain sensitive devices that may be damaged by any mistreatment.

Only use these products in a dry environment. Do not allow any liquids or harmful chemicals to
come into contact with these products.

Troubleshooting section in this manual before contacting SY Technical Support.

When calling SY Technical Support, the following information should be provided:

Product serial number

Details of the fault and any conditions under which the fault occurs.

These products have a two year standard warranty, beginning from the date of purchase as stated
on the sales invoice. Online registration of these products is required to activate the full three

SY Product warranty is automatically void under any of the following conditions:

The product is already outside of its warranty period
x
Damage to the product due to incorrect usage or storage

Damage caused by unauthorised repairs

Damage caused by mistreatment of the product
