2 Installation
2.1 Selecting the installation location
The best location for installation of the Dusty is in a duct section where the flow has its most even
distribution and the flow is as laminar as possible.
The optimal position would be in a horizontal or vertical section of the duct. There have to be no bends,
valves, dampers or other obstructions in a distance equal to a quintuple of the duct diameter in every
direction of flow to the sensor rod.
