Setting up the telephone
Before you can start using your telephone you must plug in the telephone connector
cable and the mains cable.
Note The cables must pass above the stand to assure the proper standing of
the base station.
 Socket for mains cable  Socket for telephone connector cable
Use only the supplied mains adapter 6V 600mA SSA-5W-05 EU
060060F or 5.8V 600mA SSA-5W-05 EU 058060F for the base
station!

Insert the the ISDN telephone connector cable in the socket marked with the
telephone symbol on the base station. Insert the other plug in your telephone
connection socket.

First, insert the mains cable in the socket marked with the mains connector symbol on
the base station. Then insert the mains plug in the 230 V socket.
Note Your telephone will not function if the mains connector is not plugged
in or during a power failure (no emergency mode).
