Note. Right and Left direction are from the operator position. The lower skid plate, If so equipped, may need
to be removed. Please retain plate and hardware to be reinstalled if the plate is removed..

Remove 4 foot peg bolts. (Retain for future use)

Install Right Hand Bracket with the mounting tab
down and to the front. with new bolts spacing it
out from the frame with two(2) washers (item 3)

Install Left Hand Bracket with new bolts and one
washer (Item 3) to space it away from the frame.

Snug all hardware, then check for proper spacing
of mounting tabs, (14 3/16 to 14 1/4 outside to
outside) remove washers if necessary.

Tighten all hardware.
All other listed ATV’s
1.
Remove the 4 foot rest bolts. On the 500 Automatic,
you may need to loosen the front bolts to assist in
the mounting.
2.
With the mounting tabs toward the front, mount the
brackets using the longer bolt and lock washers
provided. See Figure 2
3.
Tighten all hardware
