6.2 Safera safety technology
The Safera cooker guard accessory can easily
be connected to cooker hoods – the power
supply comes from the hood.
When the cooker hood is connected, Safera
stove guard opens the cooker hood’s damper
and switches on the lighting. The system is
adaptive, which means that delays may occur
during the first few times of use. The hood’s
damper closes and the lighting is switched off
with a brief delay for airing after use. The airing
time is controlled automatically and lasts from
a few minutes to a maximum of 45 minutes.
The Blues cooker hood can also be fitted with
a fire extinguishing unit equipped with an
integrated Safera Siro cooker guard.
Safera’s user guide is supplied with cooker
hoods equipped with Safera safety technology.
