4. Use
Swegon CASA cooker hoods feature a touch
panel (except on Tango), from where you can
control the functions on the cooker hood. The
signal lamps on the panel are dimmed auto-
matically when the hood is not in use. The
Tango hood offers the same control functions
and indications, but it is operated by buttons
located on the side of the hood.

1. Hood damper control
(with exception of the Blues Free Flow
and Tango Free Flow)
The continuously open period for the
cooker hood’s damper is selectable in three
settings: 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Each press
of the button increases the damper-open
time one step and the fourth press of the
button closes the damper. Long press the
control button to keep the damper open
for 10 hours (to cool during the summer,
the function should not be used during the
heating season).
2. Damper opening indication
(except the Blues Free Flow and Tango
Free Flow)
The number of signal lamps lit indicates the
continuous open period selected for the
damper. The damper is closed if no lamp is lit.
1 lamp = 30 minutes
2 lamps = 60 minutes
3 lamps = 120 minutes
lamp 1 + lamp 3 = 10 h
3. Control of the cooker hood lighting.
The hood’s lighting is switched on and off
with a button. The factory default of the
lighting output is 75 %.
The lighting output can be regulated with
a long press on the button, the brightness
then changes. Pressing the button again
changes the brightness in the other direc-
tion. When the brightness is at the right
level, wait a moment without pressing the
button until the light flashes to indicate
the setting has been saved.
5. Service and
maintenance
Make sure that the cooker hood and grease
filter are cleaned regularly. Otherwise the
capacity for capturing cooking odours reduces
significantly and the collected grease can
represent a fire risk.
Surfaces
Clean the surfaces of the cooker hood with a
damp cloth and mild washing-up liquid. Do
not use polish or solvents when cleaning.
Grease filter
Under normal conditions the grease filter
should be cleaned about twice per month.
Clean the filter through washing by hand in
warm water. If a grease filter is cleaned in a
dishwasher this may cause the colour on the
surface of the filter to change.
