SAFE HANDLING OF THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY AND CHARGER
• Use only the charger supplied with the Swagman to recharge the battery.
• Ensure the battery and the charger is kept clear of water. Clean with a dry or damp
cloth.
• Hold the body of the plug when plugging in and disconnecting the charger.
• Do not open the battery or the charger.
• Do not dispose of the battery or charger as normal domestic waste. Use approved
methods of disposal.
SAFE HANDLING OF SPRAY PESTICIDES
• Strict compliance with the safety instructions of any pesticide manufacturer must be
adhered to prior to and when spraying.
• NOTE: Knapsack application of some chemicals (mostly Schedule7 Poisons, dangerous
poisons) is prohibited. Check the product label to confirm that the chemical application
by knapsack is permitted. Use the Swagman Sprayer with wheels if using Schedule 7
Poisons.
• Avoid any direct contact with pesticides. When spraying wear the necessary safety
equipment, i.e. masks, goggles, overalls, boots etc. When finished spraying wash your
face and hands thoroughly.
• Do not spray pesticides in enclosed environments. Greenhouses must be ventilated for
spraying to occur and after spraying people should not enter until the greenhouse has
been thoroughly ventilated.
• Pesticides must be prevented from entering sewer systems and natural water systems.
• Never allow children or those who are unfamiliar with using pesticides to handle the
agent.
• After use thoroughly flush and clean the tank and all parts that come into contact with
the agent.
