This can happen because:
ƒ
The up-converter is not correctly connected to the demodulator.
ƒ
The I.F. cable that matches the up-converter and the demodulator is not
in good condition.
ƒ
The power supply to the up-converter is disabled in the VR-70.
ƒ
The power supply of the VR-70 to feed the up-converter is not enough.
When the user stops manipulating the equipment (when several seconds
have passed since the last order), the display’s luminosity is reduced to
save energy.
6.2 Using equipment’s menu
To enter the menu, press the MENU button on the front panel. Once in the
menu, the user can navigate through it with the arrow buttons and the ENT
button. To exit the menu and return to the main screen, simply press the
MENU button again.

The function of each button in figure 6.2 is explained below in detail.

DOWN: moves to the next option in the current menu, and also has
other specific functions.
• UP: moves to the previous option in the current menu, and also has
other specific functions.
• RIGHT: used for specific functions.
• LEFT: used for specific functions.
