Command

Description

from turning on automatically. Please see section

Password Protection section.

PASSWORD READ = X
PASSWORD MAINT = X
PASSWORD SETUP = X

Access to writing the three passwords for the system, where X is
the new password.

POWER

POWER lists the state of SW-12V #1, #2, PROT12, and RS232 PIN-9
POWER port ON turns on power to the port
POWER port OFF turns off power to the port
POWER port PULSE duration turns on for duration ms, then turns
off
port may be SW1, SW2, PROT12, RS232, VREF, or PREF
SW1 and SW2 may not turn off if they're being
controlled elsewhere in the system.

REBOOT

Does a software resets of the system.

RS232 BAUD RATE

RS232 Baud Rate = 9600, Range (0=9600, 1=19200, 2=28800,
3=38400, 4=57600, 5=115200, 6=230400, 7=460800, 8=921600),
Default = 9600

SDI-12 [POWER
ON/OFF] [port] [FIND]
[command]

Exercises the SDI-12 buses.
Port may be PORT1, PORT2, RS485. If not specified, PORT1 is used.
If FIND is included, then port is scanned for sensors
If POWER is included, it may be used to control power to the
specified port
Command indicates a specific command to send on the bus
If neither FIND nor command are specified, system issues "?!".
e.g. of valid commands:
SDI-12
SDI-12 0M!
SDI-12 PORT2 0I!
SDI-12 FIND
"SDI" may be used in place of "SDI-12"

SETUP

If provided without any other parameters, it lists all setup details.
That includes each setup variable and its current value.
Can be followed by a setup variable name and a new value for that
variable.
E.g. STATION NAME = SUTRON
If SETUP DEFAULT is issued, it will reset the entire setup to defaults.

STATUS 0

Shows system status including time, boot time, battery readings,
last measurements, current internal sensor readings, and any
hardware errors that may exist. If followed by 0, it clears the
hardware errors.

STATUS SL2
[TXx] STATUS

Shows details for Alarm, Cell, GPS, Iridium, or Transmission status.
STATUS SL2 shows a Satlink 2 like status.
[TXx] STATUS shows info about said transmission.

Requests an immediate Send To Sutron transmission.
