Note: Sutron’s products do not require the RI signal and J3 should be left in the factory default position of 2-3.
If using the modem with a device/software that requires RI to announce an incoming call, change J3 to position
1-2.
*For the modem to go to a full sleep, the jumper J4 must be removed (or turned sideways on one of the
pins) when using with an SDR. This means the SDR will not be able to wake the modem, but since the SDR
does not have the ability to dial out, is not an issue.
