Mode

This feature allows you to specify the parallel port mode. The options are Output

only, Bi-Directional, EPP and

ECP

DMA Channel

This item allows you to specify the DMA channel for the parallel port. The

options are DMA1 and

DMA3

Floppy Disk Controller

This setting allows you to assign control of the ﬂ oppy disk controller. The options

are

Enabled

(user deﬁ ned), Disabled, and Auto (BIOS and OS controlled).

Base I/O Address

This setting allows you to select the base I/O address for the parallel port. The

options are

Primary

and Secondary.

DMI Event Logging

Access the submenu to make changes to the following settings.

Event Log Validity

This is a display to inform you of the event log validity. It is not a setting.

Event Log Capacity

This is a display to inform you of the event log capacity. It is not a setting.

View DMI Event Log

Highlight this item and press <Enter> to view the contents of the event log.

Event Logging
