To Install: Insert module vertically and press down until it snaps into
place. Pay attention to the bottom notch.
To Remove: Use your thumbs to gently push each release tab outward
to free the DIMM from the slot.
Memory Support
The X6DA8-G2/X6DAE-G2 has eight 240-pin DIMMs that support up to 16 GB of
registered ECC DDR2-400 (PC3200) SDRAM memory. The X6DA8-G2/X6DAE-
G2 was designed to support 4 GB modules in each slot, but has only been
verified for up to 2 GB modules.
The X6DA8-G/X6DAE-G has eight 184-pin DIMMs that support up to 16 GB of
registered ECC DDR333 (PC2700) or 32 GB of registered ECC DDR266 (PC2100)
SDRAM memory.
The memory is an interleaved configuration, which requires modules of the same
size and speed to be installed in pairs. You should not mix modules of different
sizes and/or speeds.
