Chapter 2: Installation

Installation of the LGA775 Processor 

1.  Press  the  socket  lever  to  release 
the load plate, which covers the CPU 
socket,  from its locking position.

2. Gently lift the socket lever to open 
the load plate.

3.  Locate  Pin  1  on  the  CPU  socket. 

Note

: Pin 1 is the corner marked with 

a triangle.  Please Note that the North 
Key  and  the  South  Key  are  located 
vertically in the CPU housing.

4.  Position  the  motherboard  in  such 
a way that Pin 1 of the CPU socket is 
located at the left bottom of the CPU 
housing.
