The L eft Blower
is turned toward the
rear of the chassis
Blower Default Position
With most compatible S uper M icro motherboards, the blowers remain in the default
position . The default position is the tray in the furthest right position . The left blower
is directed toward the rear of the chassis . The right blower is turned to the left .
Blower S econdary Position
The following only applies to non - " U " brand chassis . When using a S uper M icro
motherboard with an AM D C P U , do the following:
1. Disconnect the blowers from the motherboard and remove the foam barrier from
the chassis .
2. M ove the rack one position to the left .
3 . R emove the right blower and turn it so that it points directly toward the rear of
the chassis .
4. C onfi rm that the fi rst blower is also turned toward the rear of the chassis .
5. R eplace the foam barrier using the foam from the accessory box . This foam is
especially measured for the secondary blower position .
