Intel (VMX) Virtualization Technology
(Available when supported by the CPU)
Select Enabled to use the Intel Virtualization Technology to allow one
platform to run multiple operating systems and applications in inde-
pendent partitions, creating multiple "virtual" systems in one physical
computer. The options are Disabled or
Enabled .
Note : If there is any change to this setting, you will need to
power off and reboot the system for the change to take effect.

Active Processor Cores
Use this feature to select the number of active processor cores. The
options are
All , 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (these options depend on how many
cores are supported by the CPU).
Hyper-Threading
Select Enabled to support Intel Hyper-threading Technology to enhance
CPU performance. The options are Disabled
or Enabled .
BIST
Select Enabled to activate the Built-In Self Test (BIST) on reset. The
options are
Disabled or Enabled.
AES
Select Enable for Intel CPU Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) In-
structions support to enhance data integrity. The options are Disabled
or
Enabled .
Machine Check
Select Enable to activate Machine Check. The options are Disabled or
Enabled .
MonitorMWait
Select Enable to activate MonitorMWait. The options are Disabled or
Enabled .
