Watch Dog Enable/Disable
Watch Dog (JWD1) is a system monitor that
can reboot the system when a software ap-
plication hangs. Close Pins 1-2 to reset the
system if an application hangs. Close Pins 2-3
to generate a non-maskable interrupt signal
for the application that hangs. See the table
on the right for jumper settings. Watch Dog
must also be enabled in the BIOS.

CMOS Manufacture Default Setting Select
Use Jumper JCMOS1 to select desired CMOS
(BIOS) setting for system operation speed.
Keep pins 1 and 2 of JCMOS1 Open to use
the manufacture default setting, which will
allow the system to run at the normal speed for
system stability. Close pins 1 and 2 to enable
overclocking for maximal system speed and
performance.

IEEE 1394a Enable
JPI1 allows you to enable or disable
the onboard IEEE 1394a support. The
default position is on pins 1 and 2 to use
1394_1 and 1394_2 connections. See
the table on the right for jumper settings.
SMB Enable
Jumpers J29/J30 allow the user to
enable System Management Bus
support. The default setting is 1-2 to
enable the connection. See the table on
the right for jumper settings.
