X6DLP-4G2/X6DLP-EG2 User's Manual

To conﬁ gure SATA RAID for Operating Systems that support RAID
functions(--Windows, Red Hat & SuSe, Linux)

1. Select "Advanced Setting" from the AMI BIOS menu.

2. Select the IDE Conﬁ guration menu.

3. Change the IDE Conﬁ guration to "P-ATA Only."

4. Under the item-"Conﬁ gure S-ATA as RAID", select "Yes".

5. Tap the <Esc> key and scroll down to "Exit". Select "Save and Exit" from the

"Exit" menu. Press the <Enter> key to save the changes and exit the BIOS.

6. Once you've exited the BIOS Utility, the system will re-boot.

7. During the system startup, press the <Ctrl> and the <A> keys simultaneously to

run the Adaptec RAID Conﬁ guration Utility when prompted by the following mes-

sage:
