Power LED/Speaker

On the JDI header, pins 1-3 are for a

p o w e r L E D a n d p i n s 4 - 7 a r e f o r t h e

speaker. See the table on the right for

s p e a k e r p i n d e f i n i t i o n s . N o t e : T h e

speaker connector pins are for use with

an external speaker. If you wish to use

the onboard speaker, you should close

pins 6-7 with a jumper.

The X6DH8-G/X6DHE-G has eight fan

headers (Fan1 to Fan8). (*Note: These

are 4-pin fans. However, Pins 1-3 of the

fa n h e ad ers a re back ward com pat i bl e

with the traditional 3-pin fans.) See the

table on the right for pin definitions. (*The

onboard fan speed is controlled by Ther-

mal Management under Hardware Monitor-

ing in the Advanced Setting in the BIOS

Note: Default: Disabled, When using Ther-

mal Management setting, please use all 3-

pin fans or all 4-pin fans on the mother-

board.)
