X11SSD-F User's Manual

SMBus to PCI Slots

Jumpers JI

C1 and JI

C2 allow you to connect the System Management Bus (I

C) to the

PCI-E/PCI slots. The default setting is Open (Disabled.)

Both jumpers must be set to the

same setting (JI

C1 controls the clock and JI

C2 controls the data).

Manufacturing Mode Select

Close JPME2 to bypass SPI flash security and force the system to use the Manufacturing
Mode, which will allow you to flash the system firmware from a host server to modify system
settings. Refer to the table below for jumper settings.
