Use your thumb and index finger to hold the CPU on its edges. Align the CPU keys,
which are semi-circle cutouts, against the socket keys.

7. Once they are aligned, carefully lower the CPU straight down into the socket. To avoid
damaging the CPU or socket, do not drop the CPU onto the socket, move it horizontally
or vertically, or rub it against the socket pins.
8. With the CPU in the socket, inspect the four corners of the CPU to make sure that it is
properly installed.
