Installing a Hard Disk Drive
1. Remove the screws securing the dummy drive to the carrier.
2. Remove the dummy drive from the carrier.

3. Insert the drive into the carrier with the printed circuit board side facing downward and
so that the mounting holes in the drive align with those in the carrier.
4. Secure the drive to the carrier with the four screws included with the drive.
5. Insert the drive and carrier into its bay, keeping the carrier oriented so that the release
button is on the right. When the carrier reaches the rear of the bay, the release handle
will retract.
6. Using the thumb, push the drive carrier handle until it clicks into the locked position.
