4.2 Headers and Connectors
Fan Headers
There are eight 4-pin fan headers (FAN1 ~ FAN6, FANA ~ FANB) on the motherboard.
All
these 4-pin fan headers are backwards compatible with the traditional 3-pin fans. However,
fan speed control is available for 4-pin fans only by Thermal Management via the IPMI 2.0
interface. Refer to the table below for pin definitions.

Processor Power Connector
JPV1 is an 8-pin 12V DC power input for the CPU that must be connected to the power

Pins 1-4 of JD1 designate the external speaker header. Connect this header for external audio.
