1-3 Server Chassis Features
The SuperServer 5018A-TN7B is built on the SC510-203B, a small form factor 1U
rackmount server chassis. The following is a general outline of the main features.
System Power
The system has a single 200 watt low-noise AC-DC power supply with PFC (part
number PWS-203-1H).
Drives
The chassis is designed to support one 3.5" internal hard drive or up to four 2.5"
internal hard drives. The internal drives are not hot-swappable.
Control Panel
The control panel provides system monitoring and power control. LEDs indicate
power on, network activity, hard disk drive activity and system overheat. The control
panel also includes a main power button and a reset button.
PCIe Expansion
The chassis provides one rear PCIe expansion card slot. If the server is configured
with one 3.5" drive or two 2.5" drives each with a single drive bracket, it accepts a
low profile expansion card. If the server is configured with four 2.5" drives, there is
no room for an expansion card.
Cooling System
The chassis has an innovative cooling design that features two 4-cm counter-
rotating fans with user-defined fan speed control. Fan speed may be defined with
a BIOS setting. The system supports up to three fans.
