5-9 Power Supply
Depending on your chassis model, the SC809 chassis has a 1000 Watt power
supply. This power supply is auto-switching capable. This enables it to automatically
sense and operate at a 100v to 240v input voltage. An amber light will be illuminated
on the power supply when the power is off. An illuminated green light indicates that
the power supply is operating.
Power Supply Replacement
The SC809 chassis utilizes one power supply. In the unlikely event that the power
supply unit must be replaced, the system will shut down. Replacement units can
be ordered directly from Supermicro. (See the Contact Information section in the
Preface of this manual).
