Removing an Air Shroud from a CPU Module
Each CPU board has its own air shroud, which must be removed before installing
processors or memory and re-attached before the CPU board is installed back into
the baseboard.
Each air shroud has four hooks at the corners that secure it to the CPU
1.
board.
Locate and release the hooks from either edge of the CPU board.
2.
Lift the air shroud up and off of the CPU board.
