1.2 Components
The primary components are described below.
Drives
The standard configuration includes four 3.5" fixed drive bays* in a 90º rotatable drive cage.
Four 2.5" drives can be used instead by means of optional adapters (MCP-220-73102-0N).
A bay at the front of the chassis can house two 5.25" drives, or a mobile rack with additional
hot-swap 2.5" drives. And additional internal drives can be installed in an optional fixed cage.
Fans and Cooling
The chassis includes one 12-cm PWM rear exhaust fan and supports an optional 12-cm front
intake fan.
Motherboard
The chassis accepts E-ATX, ATX, and microATX form factor motherboards.
Expansion Slots
Seven slots for PCI expansion cards are available on the chassis rear, which can also be
used for Graphic Processor Units (GPUs).
External I/O Connections
The front of the chassis supports two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C port, and
two audio jacks. The configuration of the rear I/O ports depends on the motherboard.
Control Panel
The front control panel features a power on/off button with LED illumination and an HDD
activity LED.
