PCIe/PCI/PnP Configuration
PCI Devices Common Settings
PCI Latency Timer
Use this feature to set the latency Timer of each PCI device installed on a PCI bus. Select
32 to set the PCI latency to 32 PCI clock cycles. The options are
32 PCI Bus Clocks
, 64
PCI Bus Clocks, 96 PCI Bus Clocks, 128 PCI Bus Clocks, 160 PCI Bus Clocks, 192 PCI Bus
Clocks, 224 PCI Bus Clocks and 248 PCI Bus Clocks.
PERR# Generation
Select Enabled to allow a PCI device to generate a PERR number for a PCI BusSignal Error
Event. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
SERR# Generation
Select Enabled to allow a PCI device to generate an SERR number for a PCI Bus Signal
Error Event. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
Above 4G Decoding (Available if the system supports 64-bit PCI decoding)
Select Enabled to decode a 64-bit PCI device in the space above 4G Address. The options
are
Enabled
and Disabled.
SR-IOV Support
Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) is a specification that allows a PCIe device to appear
as multiple physical devices to the system. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
Maximum Payload
Select Auto to allow the system BIOS to automatically set the maximum payload value for a
PCI-E device to enhance system performance. The options are
Auto
, 128 Bytes, 256 Bytes,
512 Bytes, 1024 Bytes, 2048 Bytes, and 4096 Bytes.
Maximum Read Request
Select Auto to allow the system BIOS to automatically set the maximum Read Request size
for a PCI-E device to enhance system performance. The options are
