SW Guard Extension (SGX)
Select Enabled to activate the Software Guard Extensions (SGX). The options are Enabled,
Disabled and
Software Controlled.
Select Owner EPOCH Input Type
There are three Owner EPOCH modes (Each EPOCH is 64 bit). The options are
No Change
in Owner EPOCHs
, Change to New Random Owner EPOCH and Manual User Defi ned
Owner EPOCHs.
PRMRR Size
The BIOS must reserve a contiguous region of Processor Reserved Memory (PRM) in the
Processor Reserved Memory Range Register (PRMRR). This item appears if SW Guard
Extensions is enabled. The options are
Auto
, 32MB, 64MB and 128MB.
Hardware Prefetcher
(Available when supported by the CPU)
If set to Enabled, the hardware prefetcher will prefetch streams of data and instructions from
the main memory to the L2 cache to improve CPU performance. The options are Disabled
and
Enabled
.
Adjacent Cache Line Prefetch
(Available when supported by the CPU)
Select Enabled for the CPU to prefetch both cache lines for 128 bytes as comprised. Select
Disabled for the CPU to prefetch both cache lines for 64 bytes. The options are Disabled
and
Enabled
.
Intel (VMX) Virtualization Technology
(Available when supported by the CPU)
Select Enabled to use the Intel Virtualization Technology to allow one platform to run multiple
operating systems and applications in independent partitions, creating multiple "virtual"
systems in one physical computer. The options are

and Disabled.

: If there is any change to this setting, you will need to power off and reboot the system

Active Processor Cores
Use this feature to select the number of active processor cores. The options are

and 4 (These options depend on how many cores are supported by the CPU.)
Hyper-Threading
Select Enabled to support Intel Hyper-threading Technology to enhance CPU performance.
The options are

and Disabled.
