General inspection
Regularly check that all the fixing screws are present and tight. They may vibrate loose over time.
Keep the tool's air vents unclogged and clean at all times.
Remove dust and dirt regularly.
Cleaning is best done with compressed air or a rag.
Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts.
Caution:
Do not use cleaning agents to clean the plastic parts of the tool. A mild detergent on a
damp cloth is recommended. Water must never come into contact with the tool.
When the time comes to dispose of this product please consider the environment and take it to a
recognised recycling facility instead of disposing with general household waste.
The trimmer uses a Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery which must be disposed of properly.
Call your local council, civic amenity site, or recycling centre for information on the recycling and disposal
of electrical products and Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) batteries.
Storage
Store the tool, instruction manual and accessories in a secure, dry place. In this way you will always have
all the information and parts ready to hand.
Never Store the Blower With a Flat Battery. The battery should ideally be stored between 10ºC and
24ºC (50ºF) and (75ºF)

Warranty
This product is guaranteed from defects of materials and workmanship for a period of twenty four months from
date of purchase provided that the product is used in accordance to the recommendations set out in the
instruction manual and with voltage and current limits set out on the name plate of the tool. The manufacturer
will at its own option make good, replace the complete tool (or defective component) with the same or similar
product, or provide a credit for any product manufactured or supplied by it, which proves to be defective within
the limits set out above provided that always no repairs, alterations or modifications to the product have been
undertaken or attempted, other than by the company or its authorised agents. Should the purchaser wish to
make a claim under the guarantee, the product should be returned pre-paid to the place of purchase.
To obtain the warranty the purchase receipt must be returned with this product.
This guarantee is in
addition to and does not take away from any rights available to the consumer under the Trade Practices Act
and the state consumer protection legislation.
A TWENTY FOUR MONTH GUARANTEE APPLIES TO THIS PRODUCT FOR DOMESTIC HOME USE
ONLY. THE GUARANTEE IS APPLICABLE FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE.
TO OBTAIN THE WARRANTY THE PUCHASE RECEIPT MUST BE RETURNED WITH THE PRODUCT.
THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

THAN AN AUTHORISED AGENT.
