An approved as equal valve must meet ASSE Standard 1017, be CSA and IAPMO approved, and shall have
a range of selectability of at least 18ºF (10ºC) and shall include a set point no higher than 122ºF (50ºC).

13) SYSTEM OPERATING PARAMETERS
The pressure in the collector loop should be within 0 – 10 PSI Gage.
The pressure in the potable system should be within 30 PSI to 125 PSI Gage.
The temperature of the water in the solar tank should be within 50
o
F to 210
o
F.
