7. INSTALLATION:
Warning! Mounting and installation of the LED fixture may only be executed by certified service personnel, in accordance with the applicable
local laws and regulations!
Warning! The installer is responsible for correct and safe installation.
Warning! Ensure the local cabling can support the voltage and current requirements of the LED fixture.
Warning! Avoid coiled cords and keep mains leads separated. This prevents electromagnetic interference.
Warning! Do not connect or disconnect the LED fixture under load.
CAUTION - PROPRIETARY WIRING SYSTEM Use Hawthorne cord set model (HGC906147/Gavita 8 ft Power Cord 120 Volt for LED,
HGC906148/Gavita 8 ft Power Cord 240 Volt for LED, HGC906458/Gavita 8 ft Power Cord 277-400 Volt for Gavita LED) only for connection
from the luminaire power inlet to a standard junction box for power connection.

7.1 INSTALLING THE LED FIXTURE:
Warning! Mount the system to something that can hold the weight of the LED fixture.

Switch off mains power.

Install the 3-Point Mounting Safety Wire to the mounting points on the LED (fig. 1).

Distribute the fixture weight evenly so the fixture hangs level (fig. 2).

If an external controller is not utilized, make sure the dummy plug is inserted; otherwise, the fixture will operate in manual mode. i.e, the
operator will need to power on the fixture with the indicator button (fig. 3).
INSTALLATION DU DISPOSITIF À DEL :
Avertissement! Fixez le système à une structure en mesure de soutenir le poids du dispositif à DEL.

Débranchez le courant du conducteur principal.

Installez le fil de sécurité de montage à trois points de fixation aux points d’attache du dispositif à DEL (fig. 1).

Répartissez le poids du dispositif uniformément de façon à ce qu’il soit suspendu au niveau (fig. 2).

Si un contrôleur externe n’est pas utilisé, assurez-vous d’insérer la fiche sans résistance de charge; sinon le dispositif fonctionnera en mode
manuel. C’est-à-dire que l’opérateur devra mettre le dispositif sous tension à l’aide du bouton indicateur (fig. 3).
7.2 MAKE SURE POWER CORDS:
1. Are not concealed or extended through a wall, floor, ceiling, or other parts of the building structure.
2. Are not located above a suspended ceiling or dropped ceiling.
3. Are not permanently affixed to the building structure.
4. Are routed so that they are not subject to strain and are protected from physical damage.
5. Are visible over their entire length.
6. Are used within their rated ampacity as determined for the maximum temperature of the installed environment specified in the instructions.
