4.3.3.8 logging history
Use this command to limit syslog messages saved to switch memory based on
severity. The
no
form returns the logging of syslog messages to the default level.
Syntax
logging history

flash

ram

no logging history

flash
– The event history stored in Flash memory (permanent memory).
■
ram
– The event history stored in temporary RAM (memory flushed on power
reset).
■
level – 0 to 7 (Messages saved include the selected level down to level 0.)
Default Setting
Flash: errors (level 3 to 0)
RAM: warnings (level 7 to 0)

notifications 5 Normal but significant condition, such as cold start
warnings 4 Warning conditions (for example, return false, unexpected

free memory error - resource exhausted)
