Using perfdump Statistics to Tune Your Server

This setting is not tunable.
pollInterval
When a file is in the cache, the server constantly goes back to the disk to make
sure that it hasn’t changed since it was last cached. The
pollInterval
represents a maximum amount of time that can pass before the server checks
the disk again. The default value is 5 seconds. If you’d like to check the file
with every access, you can set this value to 0.
Tuning
To set the polling interval (in seconds), add the following line to the
obj.conf
file:
Init fn=cache-init PollInterval==xxxxx
maxFileSize
The
maxFileSize
is the maximum size of a file that we will cache. The
default size is 537600 bytes. This means that a file which is 600K will not be
cached. It is recommended that you avoid caching large files unless you have
lots of RAM available.
Tuning
To set the maximum cachable file size (in bytes), add the following line to the
obj.conf
file:
Init fn=cache-init MaxCachedFileSize=xxxxx
DNS Cache Information
Server DNS cache disabled
The DNS cache caches IP addresses and DNS names.
