ARRANTY
IX. Add-on or modified parts that are not exempted by the
California Air Resources Board (CARB) and EPA shall not be
used. The use of any non-exempted add-on or modified
parts will be grounds for disallowing a warranty claim.
Summit will not be liable to warrant failures of warranted
parts caused by the use of a non-exempted add-on or
modified part.

X. If requested by the EPA, Summit shall provide any
documents that describe that Summit’s warranty
procedures or policies within 15 (fifteen) working days of
request.

-The use of the engine/tractor in a manner for
which it is not designed

Summit may deny warranty claims for malfunctions or
failures caused by:

-Non-performance of scheduled maintenance
-Accidents for which Summit has no
responsibility or acts of God
-Use of fuel not recommended by
Summit
-Abuse, neglect, improper maintenance
or unapproved modifications or
alterations
