Heating Element Removal
NOTE
:
See all Warnings and Cautions at beginning of
Section.
1. Disconnect Electrical Supply to Unit.
2. Stainless steel drawer box must be removed from
drawer.
3. Remove drawer from unit. (

4. Remove (6) screws holding the element assembly to
the top of cavity. (
See Figure 4-32
)
NOTE
:
Front 2 screws can only be seen by looking up
behind element t-channel.

) (1) Unplug power connector molex
from element connector, (2) depress two tabs on
sides of element molex, (3) push the element molex
out of opening.
6. Once element assembly is removed the element can
be replaced.
•
Metal edges may be sharp. Use caution when
servicing unit to avoid personal injury.
• Element may be hot. Allow sufficient time for
element cooling before attempting this repair.
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD - DISCONNECT
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY TO UNIT BEFORE ATTEMPT-
ING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES.
