CAUTIONS: 

1. 

Do not mix old and new batteries. 

2. 

Only use good quality/name brand batteries. 

3. 

Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) 
batteries. 

4. 

If the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time, please remove 
the batteries. Using old, leaking or cheaply made batteries can cause damage to 
the unit and may void the warranty. 

5. 

Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak. 

6. 

Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the 
like. 

7. 

Replace all the batteries at the same time, no matter exhausted or not, every 2 
years at the same time to avoid possible battery leakage. 

8. 

Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat, 
rupture and leak. (Follow battery manufacturer's directions). 

9. 

Only an adult should replace the batteries. 

 
 

CLOCK SETTING 

 
 

The LCD DISPLAY (#10) will blink when the unit is plugged in for the first time 

and 

goes into standby mode.  

 

Setting the Time 

1.  In standby mode, Press and hold 

the SET 

BUTTON (#2)

 until the 12 Hr or 24 Hr 

blink on the LCD display (#10).

 

2. 

Repeatedly tap the SKIP BACKWARD 

 BUTTON (#3) or SKIP FORWARD 

 

BUTTON (#9) to set the 24-hour mode or 12-hour mode.

 

3. 

Tap the SET 

BUTTON (#2)

 to confirm

 and the hour digits will blink. 

4. 

Repeatedly 

tap the SKIP BACKWARD 

 BUTTON (#3) or SKIP FORWARD 

 

BUTTON (#9) to set the hour. Press and hold the buttons for fast advance/reverse 
setting. 

Note:

 The PM icon on the bottom left corner of the LCD DISPLAY (#10) will light 

when the hour is set to PM and will be off when the hour is set to AM. 

5. 

Press the SET 

BUTTON (#2)

 to confirm

 and the minute digits will blink.  

6. 

Repeatedly 

tap the SKIP BACKWARD 

 BUTTON (#3) or SKIP FORWARD 

 

BUTTON (#9) to set the minute. Press and hold the buttons for fast 
advance/reverse setting. 

7.  Tap the 

SET 

BUTTON (#2)

 

to confirm and complete the setting. The display will 

stop blinking. 

 

Note:  

The unit will automatically save the settings and exit the time set mode if you do not 
tap the 

SET 

BUTTON (#2) within 5 seconds.

 

 
 

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME (DST) 

 

The DST function allows you to add one hour to the current time (in Spring) and 
subtract an hour from the current time (in Fall), if DST is observed in your area. 
1.  Press and hold DST BUTTON (#9) in standby mode to turn on the DST function.  

The DST icon will light on the LCD DISPLAY (#10).  

2.  Press and hold DST BUTTON (#9) again in standby mode to turn off the DST 

function.  The DST icon will turn off.
