Set Test Parameters 

After network connectivity has been established the ACT-
L3™ Transport must be configured.  
 
1.

 

Start by entering the decoder IP address (10.0.2.131) on 
the encoder and setting a target bitrate.   You may do 
this via the FPC or GUI method. 

2.

 

On the decoder, verify that a data stream is being 
received by examining the front panel display. 

3.

 

Next, verify the video and audio output from the 
decoder. 

 

 Test the System 

Experiment with different settings to familiarize yourself with 
the ACT-L3™ Transport.   Refer to the ACT-L3™ Transport 
Encoder Configuration and ACT-L3™ Transport Decoder 
Configuration sections for more information.
